Home for me means several things. It can mean something from my past, or present, or future. It means family, so in that sense it means Loveland, Colorado, where most of my family now lives. It means that place, and culture, that gives you an anchor in the world, a nest from which to learn about much larger points of view. Colorado is that as well, where I was born and grew up, the center of the circle to which I always end up returning. And it means nurturing, in body and in soul. In this respect, I can be almost anywhere and feel at home, providing that there is nature around me. However, though there have been many places that have meant something to me, or that I desire to experience in the future, Colorado is still the anchor, the place where I first learned how beautiful nature could be.
My name is Jessica Myscofski. I am 27, and have lived in various parts of Colorado for most of my life, now in northern Colorado. I love to take photographs, write short stories and poetry, read, and listen to music. I am currently attempting to sell some of my photos, and learning more all the time. I have traveled to eastern and western Europe, to England, to Costa Rica, around the United States; and there are many more places I hope to visit. However, it's the simple, homely things that really matter the most in the end.
